Fallen tears dry up on solid ground
Every smile fake and dimming
Every movement slow while trimming
The concrete floor of its sweatful stress
The concrete floor of its mornings best
That walk upon it towards success
The walk of stress of mere contest
To pass the steps for we, the test,
Will shrivel up in the darkest chest
Locked away,
Day by day,
For we, the best, may lay to rest...
